Our Starting Point

The Word is Profitable

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Being parents ourselves, we know that every parent wants the best for their children. However, we also know that not every family’s situation can provide for the preparation necessary to achieve these goals. At Bible High we know what it takes for a Young man to succeed (Psalm 119: 9-11) and with God’s help we can make it happen. Through a program of Bible Study, appropriate academics, athletics and work we are confident that your son will become the man you hope he can be.

Why Teach a Trade?

Teaching young men a trade has numerous benefits that extend beyond acquiring practical skills. It plays a pivotal role in learning virtue and discipline, both of which are essential for personal and professional development. By engaging youth in trade education, we equip them with valuable tools that can positively influence their lives.

First and foremost, trade education instills a strong work ethic and discipline in young men. Learning a trade requires dedication, perseverance, and attention to detail. As they engage in hands-on learning experiences, these young individuals develop a sense of responsibility and commitment towards their work. They learn the importance of showing up on time, adhering to schedules, and completing tasks to the best of their abilities. These qualities can significantly impact their overall sense of discipline, which is crucial not just in their trade, but in all aspects of life.

Next, trade education helps young men acquire various learning virtues such as patience, problem-solving skills, and adaptability. The process of learning a trade often presents challenges and difficulties that require patience and resilience to overcome. Through this journey, young men learn to embrace setbacks as opportunities for growth, developing problem-solving skills that can be applied to various real-life situations. Moreover, trade education frequently exposes individuals to diverse scenarios and demands adaptability to changing circumstances. This flexibility cultivates versatility and open-mindedness, preparing them for the ever-evolving world around them.

Trade education also offers tangible benefits, enabling young men to become financially independent at an early age. By learning marketable skills, they gain the ability to earn a living and contribute to their own well-being and that of their families. This economic empowerment not only boosts their self-esteem but also encourages them to be self-reliant, fostering a sense of responsibility for their own financial stability.

Finally, personal growth, teaching young men trades has a positive impact on society as a whole. By equipping them with marketable skills, trade education enhances their employability, making them valuable assets in the job market. This, in turn, reduces the unemployment rate and contributes to economic growth. Furthermore, trade education fills the gap in the labor market by providing a skilled workforce in various sectors, thus promoting economic development and prosperity.
